Palapa offers an innovative approach to communication and data management, serving as the next generation of PeSankita Indonesia (PS). This secure mobile application platform is designed specifically for Society 5.0 and developed by XecureIT, a leading registered cyber defense firm in Indonesia. Notably, Palapa is available as free open source software.

 <li>Ability to send documents, audio, video, and images up to 100 MB</li>
 <li>Data at rest is protected with an encrypted database stored on the device and in backup files</li>
 <li>Implementation of secure end-to-end encryption for all videos, voice calls, voice messages, and both private and group chats, ensuring that unauthorized parties, including Palapa's infrastructure system administrators, cannot access the content</li>
 <li>Encrypted personal notes feature</li>
 <li>Automatic notification in conversations if a user takes a screenshot</li>
 <li>Secure group management with three membership levels: owner/creator, admins, and members</li>
 <li>An end-to-end key exchange process that guarantees server access to the secret key is not possible</li>
 <li>Utilization of strong encryption algorithms such as ECC Curve25519, AES-256, and HMAC-SHA-256</li>
